ALIMENTOS

Los dasayunos se realizarán en el Hotel.

Los almuerzos (comida) al medio día se realizarán en el Café Azul y Oro del Centro Cultural Universitario.Los que recibieron las becas recibirán un vale para alimentación en el Café Azul y Oro.

La cena (comida) en la noche es libre.

El Festival no puede hacerse cargo de dietas especiales por lo que les recomendamos planear esto con anticipación.

VISAS

Se les recuerda que cada participante es responsable de revisar si requiere una visa para ingresar a México. Los datos sobre las embajadas y consulados de México en cada país están disponibles en: www.sre.gob.mx

Información importante

1)El programa se actualiza constantemente en www.visionessonoras.org, por favor revisenlo junto con las secciones de información pues ese será el medio principal de comunicación desde ahora.

2)La Cafetería del Centro Cultural Universitario ofrece acceso a internet (Wireless para su laptop con WiFi), el Radisson tiene un centro de negocios y acceso a internet pero cualquier costo adicional no será cubito por el Festival.

3) Para los participantes hospedados en el Hotel Radisson el desayuno tipo aericano será en el Hotel.

4) Para todos los participantes: La comida al medio día será en el Café Azul y Oro del Centro Cultural Universitario. esta cafetería dará servicio normal durante el día (café,comidas,etc). En la noche la comida no estará a cargo del Festival por lo que cada quién deberá organizarla ya sea en el café Azul y Oro, en el Radisson o en otro lugar.

5) Transporte: El Festival solo organizara el transporte ente el Hotel Radisson al la Unam en la mañana y de regreso en la noche. Organizaremos algunos viajes del aeropuerto al Hotel durante el día 20 y del Hotel al Aeropuerto el 25. El Transporte tendrá que ser coordinado en varios viajes debido a la cantidad de personas. VER DETALLES ABAJO

6) Para aquellos que quieran hacer visitas de tipo turistico en la Cd de Mexico se les recomienda tener las precauciones normales de cualquier gran ciudad y avisar en medida de lo posible de sus planes. Se recomienda el uso de taxis "de sitio" que tambien pueden llamar por teléfono.

7) La estación de Metro mas cercano de la sala de conciertos y el Hotel es la estacion "Universidad". Sin embargo esta a por lo menos 30 mins caminando de la Sala Carlos Chavez y bastante mas del Hotel.

8) Favor de enviarnos sus datos de llegada y salida para intentar coordinar el transporte entre aeropuerto y hotel.

9) Les recomendamos consultar con el consulado de México en su país sobre los trámites de entrada. Algunos países necesitan visa y otros no.

10) Al llegar al Hotel pregunten por Patricia Vargas, quién intentara estar en el Hotel Radisson para recibir a los participantes. Su celular es 0445516513343

Some info in English

1) We are constantly changing the schedule and program for the Festival. Check www.visionessonoras.com (program) to follow the changes.

2) Food will be at the Cafeteria near the hall of the festival. they have WiFi access for your laptop there. The Radisson has internet but we are not sure of the cost.

3) all staying at the Radisson will have breakfast there as well.

4) Lunch will be served at the cafeteria near the venue (we will give you vouchers for that, so lunch is on us). Dinner can be anywhere you want.

5) The festival will provide transport from the Hotel to the venue every morning and back after the concert. We will also have a couple of trips from the airport to the Hotel on the 20th and back to the airport on the 25th (these dates only). SEE DETAILS BELOW

6) for those doing some sightseeing in Mexico City please play it safe as you would do it any any other major city. Try to let someone else know about your plans and only use official taxis, never take one on the street (only phoning them or from a taxi rank).

7) The underground is not very close the the hotel and venue (venue is about a 30 minute walk. The station is called "Universidad"
8) Please do send us your flight schedule asap.

9) US citizens need a valid passport to get into Mexico (Joe please do not forget yours!)

10) Ask for Patricia Vargas at the Radisson Hotel. she will try to be at the Hotel when people arrive.

Como encotrar el transporte? /How to find the transport?

Habrá una persona con un letrero de "Visiones Sonoras"

Nos encontraremos en el "Punto de Encuentro E2" de la zona de llegadas E2. A unos metros del Burger King y del Restaurant "Barón Rojo" frente a una sucursal del Banco Banamex. Busquen el letrero de Visiones Sonoras. Si no ven a nadie entonces tome un taxi (ver instrucciones abajo). No tenemos manera de transportarr individualmente a todos, por lo que pueden decidir entre esperar a la sigueinte camioneta o tomar un taxi.

We will meet at "Meeting Point E2" at the arrivals terminal E2. This is a few meters from a Burger King and a Restaurant called "Barón Rojo" in front of a bank called BANAMEX. Look for the Visiones Sonoras sign. If you do not see anyone then please proceed and take a Taxi (see instructions below).We do not have the infraestructure to pick everybody up individually so you can decide if you want to wait for the next van or take a taxi.

** Por favor, si necesitan tomar un taxi del aeropuerto al hotel ( o a otro lugar) solo deben usar TAXIS OFICIALES. Utilizen los taxis del "Sitio 300" que estan a la salida de las terminales y que les deben cobrar aporximadamente $20 dólares por un viaje al Radisson Perisur. Nunca usen ningún otro taxi.

**Please note that is you need to take a taxi from the airport to the Hotel (or anywhere) you should only use OFICIAL TAXIS. Use the "Sitio 300" Taxi rank outside the terminal. They should charge about $20 dollars per trip to the Radisson Perisur. Never take any other taxi.
